Terms of Service

By creating an Oryx account or using oryx.vitalstack.dev (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Oryx is a personal life-organisation tool. Core features include account management, life-area categories, optional Google Calendar and Google Tasks integrations, and a daily AI-generated briefing. The Service is provided online and may change over time.

• You must provide accurate, truthful information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact us.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.
• You confirm you are at least 16 years old. Oryx is not intended for users under 16.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where that right is granted to you by applicable law.
• Probe, test, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, defraud, or harm others.
• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise the Service or any output of the Service without our written agreement.

Oryx integrates with third-party services such as Google. When you connect a third-party account, you authorise Oryx to act on your behalf within the scopes you grant. You remain responsible for your third-party accounts and for the terms that govern them.

For Google integrations, Oryx's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Daily briefings and other AI-generated text are produced by large language models served through third-party APIs (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, or Groq, depending on the feature and your subscription tier). They are informational only. They may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They are not legal, medical, financial, aviation, tax, or other professional advice. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give existing users reasonable notice and a chance to opt in before any charge takes effect.

The Service, including its source code, design, branding, and AI prompt templates, is owned by Oryx and its contributors. You retain all rights to the content you put into Oryx (your tasks, notes, profile, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host, transmit, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

You may stop using Oryx at any time. To delete your account, email us with the subject “Delete my Oryx account” (see the Privacy Policy for details).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use puts other users or the Service at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to remedy the issue first.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oryx and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) one hundred euros (€100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oryx and its operator from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought before the competent courts of Spain, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by mandatory law.

We may update these Terms when the Service changes or when we are required to. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. For material changes we will give notice in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
